Show HOME FROM ENGLAND Mr. and Mrs. Thurland D. Sly, in company with their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Russell M. Sly of Seattle, Wash., have returned from a two week vacation va-cation in London, England. They flew over the Polar route, Canada, Greenland, Iceland Ice-land and Scotland. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Maggs of Rayleigh, Essex; Mr. and Mrs. Roy New-land New-land of Wickford, Essex; Mrs. Bertha Cox of Rayleigh, and Mrs. Doreen Emerson of Acton, Sudbury, Suffolk. All are relatives rel-atives whom Mrs. Sly had never seen. Her mother, Mrs. Melvin (Flora) Edwards, was an LDS convert. While there they visted the residences of Russell and Ge-niel Ge-niel while Russell was stationed there with the U. S. Air Force, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, the London Planetarium, Planetar-ium, Wax Museum, Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, and other interesting places. |
