Show Salt Lake. Mrs. Ora Fotheringbam is in St. George for a week doing temple work. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Kerney and children Judy, Larry and Ricky of Kearns spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Vella Stephenson. Mrs. Vella StepTienson was honored at a birthday party last Thursday evening. Helping her to enjoy the occasion were brothers and sisters and their families, Rulon and Rachel Eyre, Therman and Trina Eyre, Ty and Bernice Gillins, Clark and Mary Gillins, Mrs. Daisy Gillins and son Carl and Jerry and Joan Eyre. Mrs. LaNae Marshill showed some interesting films at Literary Lit-erary Club last Wednesday evening eve-ning at the home of Mrs. Rachel Ra-chel Eyre. The films shown were of the Minersville Centennial Cen-tennial Celebration in 1962 and also a film was shown of a minstrel show taken some years ago with Minersville people peo-ple taking part. Mrs. Ruth Dotson was the co-hostess. Others attending the evening's entertainment were Mrs. Effie Marshall, Mrs. Gertrude Marshall, Mar-shall, Mrs. Ora Fotheringham, Mrs. Shirley Hollingshead, Mrs. Freda Wood, Mrs. Joan Eyre, Mrs. Dorothy Wood, Mrs. Vivian Vi-vian Marshall, Mrs. Reva Al-brecht, Al-brecht, Mrs. Lola Roberts, Mrs. Erma Eyre, Mrs. Lela Cartel and Mrs. Phyllis Truman. Mrs. Caroline Hatch of Mil-ford Mil-ford and Mrs. Bonnae Gress-man Gress-man spent a few days in Las Vegas last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vierson of Las Vegas spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Hayward Carter, and called on other relatives, rel-atives, and Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Pierson, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter, Mrs. Janice Roberts Rob-erts of Beaver, Mrs. Nettie Myers and Mrs. Hayward Carter Car-ter motored to Provo to attend an open house for newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Chad Smith. Mr. Smith is a son of Mr. and Mrs Othello Smith of California. Mrs. Nettie Myers received word that her grandson Alan son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Myers My-ers of New Plymouth Idaho, had been chosen from the New Plymouth High School as one of the members of the National Honor Society. He was judged on merits of scholarship, leadership, lead-ership, service and character. He was honored at a New Ply. mouth High School P.-T. A. and was given a gold pin during dur-ing the meeting.
