I O Mr. and Mrs. Al Turner of Las Vegas spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roldo Turner. i Mr. and Mrs. Mac All-ed of Altonah stopped in Mil'ord , this week. The couple had been to Old Mexico. Mr. A'.lred ! was one of the contractors who built the Elementary School building. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cook and baby Douglas Lee of Salt Lake were here over the week end at the home of Mrs. Berth?. Cottrell. Bill Cook, a student at the Salt Lake Trade Tech school, was down over the weeke end at the home of his mother, Mrs. Helen Cook. Mrs. Joan Holland a"d , daughter Vicki are in Provo 1 for a family get-together. They celebrated the b:rth anniversary anniver-sary of Mrs. Holland's father, A. E. Larsen. Another daughter daugh-ter of Mrs. Holland, Mr?. Cad. Hanee and baby of Ogden will return to Milford with the two ladies for a Milford visit. Mrs. Leli Gilliam was expected ex-pected back to Milford last Monday from a Southern California Cali-fornia trip, but word was received re-ceived that she is in Las Vegas ill. She is at the home of a son in law ad daughter Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Wbitlork. They left Monday to return to their home at La Sierra, Cal. 3 Mrs. Jim Smithson returned home from Spanish Fork Sunday, Sun-day, where she had been caring car-ing for a niece, Mrs. Mont Gustin, who has been seriously ill. The Elementary School is sponsoring the annual immunizations immuni-zations in their school, on Jan. 30th. O Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Glenn of Kearns were here visiting with parents Mr. and Mrs. David Da-vid Glenn and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Brimberry, and grandmother grand-mother Mrs. Susan Glenn. O Mr. and Mrs. Kaye Banks a id children of Minersville are moving to Milford. He is a Union Pacific Railroad employee. em-ployee. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Moody attended the wedding and open house in honor of Mr. Moody's brother, Max Moody, in Salt Lake. The newlyeds are planning plan-ning to make their home in Milford and have rented the Gilda Myers rental home on North Main. O Mr. and Mrs. John Kirk are living in the former home of Mrs. Luneta Kirk on 274 SiiUffi 100 West. The couple hava been living in Cedar City where he attended th2 SUSC. Mr. Kirk has employment here. 9 Mr. and Mis. Je Puffer and baby of Las Vegas spent t'n e week end with parents Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jones and Oren Puffer. O Kent Meilor, son of Grant Mellor, has been discharged from the U. S. Signal Corps at Ft. Huachuca, Ariz., where he served all of his two years of service. Kent plans to work in Salt Lake and attend school. Elaine Schow of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Schow of Cedar City spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Schow. Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham were in Salt Lake this week, where Mr. Bingham received a medical checkup. O Mrs. D. A. Fowles underwent a cataract operation in Cedar City Monday. Her son Arden Fowles of Las Vegas came to be with her during the operation. opera-tion. Mr. and Mrs. Art Williams of Chico, Cal., former South Milford residents, are here calling on relatives and friends and are house guests of their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. DuWayne Williams. C Harold Vernon is in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake receiving receiv-ing medical treatment. Mrs. Vernon is wilh him and is staying at the home of a son, Mr. and Mrs. Weston Vernon. O Mrs. Beth Ward of Long Beach, Cal., is here visiting her father, Mr. and Mrs. V. Wad-doups. Wad-doups. Last week end Carlie Gronning and sons Gordon of Las Vegas and Blaine and girl friend of Logan spent the week end with the Waddoups and Mrs. Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Terry and two children of Paul, Ida., were here last week end at the home of his brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Fisher, and to also see Mr. Terry's and I Mrs. Fisher's father, John H. Terry, who is living with the i Fishers. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Banks will attend a wedding and reception re-ception Friday evening in Roosevelt in honor of her niece, Diana Bowman. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Kimmel Coon arrived home Monday after a two week visit with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Blair Coon at La Mirada, Cal. Mrs. Edythe Grimshaw spent last week end with a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Mills, in Provo. She was called home because of the death of a sister in law, Aleen Osborn of Beaver.
