Mrs. Ella Wood returned j from Cedar City Tuesday, where she was at the home of a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Murie and children. Mrs. Dorothy Wood was hostess for her pinochle club last Wednesday evening. Card winners were Edi'.h Marshall, Donna Carter and Joan Eyre. Other players included Florence Flor-ence Wood, Marybelle Eyre, Merle Gillins, Margaret Ann Williams, Jean Carter and Eleanor El-eanor Marshall. Delicious re-freshements re-freshements were served. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Glenn of Kearns called on her brother broth-er in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Wood, last week end. ft Mr. and Mrs. William Wood plan to attend a wedding for her nephew in the northern part of the state this Friday evening. e Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Banks are moving back to Minersville. O Stan McKnight is now home after spending some time in Midvale with his wife Lillian. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Limb and son Russell and Steve Lovell, all of Wendover, spent last week end with Mrs. Tleen Jameson. Jam-eson. Mr. and Mrs. Limb and Mr. Lovell are attending special spe-cial classes at the SUSC in Cedar City. 9 Mrs. Effie Marshall had as dinner guests last Sunday her son in law and daughter, Donald Don-ald and Aldene Jones and children of South Milford, before be-fore the Jones family leaves for their new home in Kays-ville. Kays-ville. Kathy Truman is home between be-tween BYU semesters. Mrs. Effie Marshall gave the literary lesson at Relief Societey Tuesday afternoon on Communication. Mrs. Naomi Hughes, Stake literary leader of Milford visited the organization organi-zation that day. Mrs. Nettie Myers has been in Bountiful at the home of her son in law and daughter, Sammy and Dorothy Johnson, caring for the Johnson children while Mr. and Mrs. Johnson are preparing to move to North Carolina. O Mrs. Gladys Myers has been in Beaver caring for her daughter Carol Carter, who is ill. Mrs. Betty Marshall has been shopping, buying new items for their new home, which is under construction. Goldie and Hilda Marshall are home from Phoenix, Ariz. While they were there Mr. Marshall underwent knee surgery. sur-gery. C The Relief Society are busy making articles for their annual an-nual bazaar, which is planned to be held in the early spring. Hal Pryor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pryor of Yering-ton, Yering-ton, Nev., and Penny Pryor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Pryor of the Bahaman Islands, spent last week end with an uncle and aunt, Howard and Gwen Pryor and Gaye. The two visitors are employed in Las Vegas. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hollingshead over the week end were their son in law and daughter, Clyde and Marsha Harding, and a niece, Katherine Berg of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne R. Crook and children of Beaver ' gave the program in sacrament meeting last Sunday evening. |
