Grautcd, August is a poor month for ra'cbK? people a' home with Little League, summer sum-mer Iband. etc., ovot, and school only a few weeks away but it seems like there should be more than 19 eligible people-between people-between the ages of 18 and 6G around any day of the year. We have had more people than that offer their blood eagerly, at the hospital, on a moment's' notice, in time of emergency. Why do we have to wait for the drama to get the" results? Why not invest jn a little planned preparation in advance and keep our Red Cro.s blood program in MiKord 52 weeks a year with only two drives during dur-ing that length of time. A good deal of effort goes into a drive. About 75 volunteer volun-teer hours are spent recruiting donors and staffing the drawing. draw-ing. Home made cookies are donated by the Candy Strjpers. |
