Show O Mrs. Grace Higbee and four children have returned to San Diego, Cal., after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lund. Mrs. Higbee Hig-bee stopped at Bryce Canyon to visit her late husband's mother, Mrs. Julie Hall, and also attended to business and visited relatives in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Rolan Larsen and daugters Lori and Jode were in Salt Lake visiting Mr. and Mrs. Steven Larsen and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Van Mem-mott Mem-mott and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Culver. The Culver family will move to Ogden, where he will manage a new Wolfe department depart-ment store. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rummler and two children are here at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rummler. Monday Mon-day the Roy Rummler family will leave for Butte, Mont., where he will be music instructor instruc-tor in one of the schools. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Cox and sons Steven, Larry and Dennis and Mrs. Cox's sisters, Michelle and Micheline of France, have returned from a two week vacation trip to Colorado, Colo-rado, where they visited Mr. Cox's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Cox, and to scenic points in California. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Beding-field Beding-field are in Los Angeles where Mr. Bedingfield is receiving medical attention at Good Samaritan Sa-maritan Hospital. Mrs. Florence Fields has returned re-turned to her home in Eureka after spending a week with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bedingfield. Mrs. Idonna Coleman spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Las Vegas with her husband Dave. Mr. and Mrs. James Briggs have returned to Milford. While in Logan their 6 year old daughter Becky attended a six week speech and hearing clinic, and for the past two weeks the Briggs family visited vis-ited Mr. Briggs' sister, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson, in Hawaii. Mr. Briggs is principal at Milford Elementary School. Steven Lund underwent major ma-jor surgery this week in the University Medical Center in Salt Lake. Mrs. Eva Easton is now at home, convalescing from a severe se-vere ankle cut suffered when she was kicked by a colt. Mrs. Easton has been visiting an aunt, Mrs. Margaret Finney in San Bernardino, Cal., and a sister, Mrs. Claudia Tuckey in Las Vegas. Mrs. Tuckey accompanied ac-companied her to Milford for a week's visit. A family get-together at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Davis was attended by his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Max L. Davis and family of Nata, Cal., and a sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Powers Pow-ers of West Covina, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Davis and family spent a few days this week in the northern part of the state. Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler spent a few days in Salt Lake with the family of their daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. James Mash. Mrs. John Spacer has returned re-turned to her home in Albu-ouerque, Albu-ouerque, N. M after spending a week with her sister, Julia Henderson. Mrs. Arbiteen Davis is in Eiwden, N. D., to spend several sev-eral months with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mn. James Jesse. c Lee Banks of Salt Lake will spend the weok end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garthe Banks. Lee is employed at a Salt Lake convalescent home. Mrs. Isabclle Cox has returned re-turned from Kansas City, Kan., where she took her grandchildren grandchil-dren Kevin and David back to their parents, Mr .and Mrs. James Cox. The two boys had been here with Mrs. Cox and Veda and grandparents Mr. and Mrs Usher Wilcock, and visiting vis-iting Mr. and Mrs. Danny James in Ogden. While in Kansas Kan-sas Mrs. Cox got acquainted with a new grandson, Gregory Brent Cox. Veda Cox, who is employed at Bryce Canyon, spent a few days with her mother, Mrs. Isafoelle Cox. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Edwards and five children, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wright and four children, all of San Jose, Cal., are at the home of Mr. Edwards' Ed-wards' and Mrs. Wright's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar C. Edwards. Mrs. Verle Horton has been in Salida, Colo., assisting the family of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Horton, after the birth of a son. Claude Horton will leave Thursday for Salida to visit the Russell Hortons and will be accompanied home by his wife. Mrs. Dixie Lamb and Mrs. Pearl Tolley entertained the Rebekah Past Noble Grands Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Lamb. Harold Winn has returned from Lynnwood, Cal., where he spent a week with an uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Harris. Mr. Winn is on sick leave from the Union Pacific. Darcy Winn, Jeff White, Scott Symond, Kyle Jones, Scott Cook and Kenneth Holm are back in Milford after attending at-tending a basketball clinic at the U S U in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. Miller are moving back to Milford and will live in the Lamar Out-zen Out-zen apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Russell M. Sly of Auburn, Wash., are parents par-ents of a new baby daughter, born July 29. The little lady was named Vivian Liana. Mr. and Mrs. Thurland D. Sly have returned from a two week vacation trip to Auburn, Wash., where they took their grandchildren Jeffrey and Becky, who had spent three weeks in Milford with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. David S. Williams Wil-liams of Kanab, former Milford News publishers, -were in town Tuesday visiting old friends. They were accompanied by their daughter, Mrs. Lois Swapp. Mrs. Bernice Olsen and daughter Nannette of Salt Lake are spending a week with her mother, Mrs. Jennice Alberts. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. McCarty of Kaysville spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Anna Denney. Mr. and Mrs. Hilmer Elsen of Denver, Colo., visited her uncle, Mr. and Mrs. George Bush, this week. Randy Rummler, 8 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rummler of Milwaukee, Wise, came to Milford "by himself" to visit his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rummler. Mrs. Rummler returned Randy to his home and spent two weeks with the Gary Rummlers. |
