Show CHAD JOHNSON, JOYCE GRIMS.HAW EXCHANGE VOWS A b aut if nl church wedding ' was that of Miss Joyce Adele Grimshaw and Mr. Chad W. Johnson on Saturday, Dec. 28, in the LDS Church. Bishop 7dgar C. Edwards performed the ceremony. , The new Mr Johnson is the : daughter of Mr and Mrs. Lamar La-mar Grimshaw, and Mr .and Mrs. Warren Jo'hnson are parents par-ents of the bridegroom. A wedding supper was given by Mrs. Grimshaw and Mrs. Johnson, followed by a -wedding reception honoring the newlyweds. The bride was feted at pre-nuptial showers. A personal shower was given by Thea Kaye Young, Vicki Carter and LaDon Grimshaw, and a kitchen shciwer by Dora WaTker and Helen Banks. The radiant bride was gowned in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and crepe. The bodice and Juliet styled sleeves were of lace and the A-ine skirt featured the crepe. Enhancing the Watteau detachable detach-able train was the edging of the matching scalloped laea. Her finger-tip nylon net veil iwas caught to a pearled petaled crown and to complete the I'lcgant look the ibride held a j bouquet of deep pink half-blown half-blown rosebuds. Mrs. Vicki Carter was the matron of honor and bridesmaids brides-maids included Miss Thea Kaye Young, Mrs. Delores Bishop and Miss LaDon Grimshaw. Steve Larsen acted as best man, and the ushers were Stan Holllngshead, John Carter and Gill Smith. The couple honeymooned at the Dunes in Las Vegas, and at present are living in the former for-mer Vernon Burns home on Main Street. In the spring they will move to Logan where Mr. Johnson will attend Utah Staff Universiey. Mrs. Johnson is a Milford High School graduate, attended attend-ed a dental school in Los Angeles, An-geles, and was employed at a dental office in Beverly Hills. Mr. Johnson, also a Milford High graduate, attended Utah State University and served in the Special Forces with the U. S. Army in Vietnam. old, and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Erickson and children attended funeral services in Enterprise last Tuesday for Mrs. Hardy's niece, Christine Bowler, who was killed in an automobile accident. Mrs. Eliza Hardy is in Spanish Span-ish Fork at the home of a son in law and daughter, Keith and Cleo Bauer, and will spent several months in the northern part of the state visiting her children. Betty McDonld left Jan. 10 for Hawaii where she will meet her husband, Capt. Vaughn McDonald, who is on 10-day leave from military duty in Saigon, Vietnam. Grandma Kate McDonald is caring for the two younger children, Mary Louise and Jim, and grandparents Dan and Dee Ferguson are caring for Kelly and Bill. Dr. and Mrs. William McDonald Mc-Donald and daughter Kathy spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. McDonald. |
