Show BLM TO HOLD MEETING ON LAND CLASSIFICATION Local residents are urged to take part in a joint land use planning program that involves their communities, the county, and the Bureau of Land Management. Man-agement. A general meeting is scheduled sched-uled for 8 p. m. Nov. 13 in the Milford Library, to introduce and discuss the proposed classification clas-sification of some 1 million acres of public lands in Beaver Beav-er County under the Classification Classifi-cation and Multiple Use Act. This act authorizes and directs that certain lands exclusively administered by the Secretary of the Interior, be classified in order to provide for their disposal dis-posal or interim management under principles of multiple use. W. D. Brough, district manager man-ager of the Fillmore District of the Bureau of Land Management, Man-agement, urges all residents to actively participate in this important im-portant program and invites all interested persons or groups to come into the district office and discuss their ideas and suggestions with him. |
