Show THIS WEKK IN MINERSVILLE As Reported By GWEN I RYOR e Mrs. Erma Eyre, Mrs. Rachel Ra-chel Eyre and Mrs. Vella" Stephenson, Ste-phenson, all sisters, visited another an-other sister, Mrs. Ruth Hay-ward Hay-ward in Ely, Nev., on her birth anniversary Monday, May 13. O Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lew Griffiths were her brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Mower of Oakland, Calif. 8 Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Jameson Jame-son enjoyed a two-day trip to Las Vegas. e At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis LeFevre for the Mother's Day holidays were their children, chil-dren, Frank and Jean Terry and Mrs. Jean Kanell, and their families, all of Salt Lake. ' Sumner and Gay Murdock of Beaver, Mrs. Margie Johnson John-son of Adamsville, Mrs. LaRue Turner and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lar-ry Kinross of Milford; Doug and Elma Blackburn, Mrs. Carla Eyre and two children : and Mrs .Sue Carter, were also at the LeFevre home, e Spending Mother's Day with Mrs. Armina Banks were her I son and family, Mr. and Mrs. j George Banks of Parowan. Also J Mrs. Banks recieved word that her son. Carl Glenn, had been ordained into the LDS bishop-r:ck bishop-r:ck in Provo. and son George had received the Silver Beaver Beav-er Scout award in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Decker of Parowan visited his parents, Mr. ar,3 Mrs. Horace Carter, and their aunt Armina Banks, on Mother's Day. e Mrs. Vella Stephenson of Cedar City has purchased a lot from Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jameson, on which she will build a home. e Mr. and Mrs. Rex Limb and j children cf Washington spent Mother's Day week end with Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jameson, a Visiting Mrs. Eulalia Davis on Mother's Day were her son ! and daughter in law, Mr. and ; Mrs. Victor Davis and children, Randy and Linda, Mr. and Mrs. 1 Carey Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Davis and daughter Lesa, Cedar Ce-dar City. Lesa is Mrs. Eulalia Davis' first great-grandchild. 8 Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor received word that Gary and Janice (Pryor) Bennett of Reno Nev., had a new daughter. Janice is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pryor. 9 Mr. and Mrs. John Williams are in Salt Lake where Mr. Williams will undergo major surgery in the Veterans Hospital. Hos-pital. Bill Gibson of ' Montebello, Calif., are visiting in Minersville. ffl Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Yardley and two children of Kanab j were here over the week end, ' and visiting his parents in Beaver. Mr. Yardley has just been released from a Salt Lake hospital. In Minersville they visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall, e Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gillins and children and Mrs. Daisy Gillins and son Carl spent Mother's Day in Beaver visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Nowers. Ray Carter is home from Lovell, Wyo. Mrs. Sylvia Pace of Salt Lake visited her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter and children of Beaver spent Mother's Moth-er's Day with her mother, Mrs. Gladys Myers, and Monday Mrs. Myers left for Las Vegas to visit her son in law and daughter, Lee and Sallie Smith. O Mrs. Anna Rae Carter left Sunday for Salt Lake to receive re-ceive medical attention. |
