Handley of Woods Cross were recent callers at the home of his father, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Handley. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Grim-shaw Grim-shaw are happy to announce the birth of a 6 lb 11 oz grandson, grand-son, born on Mother's Day in Cedar City to John and Vicki Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Carter of Minersville are paternal pa-ternal grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hanney spent the Mother's Day week end with their children in the northern part of the state. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ferguson Fergu-son of Ely and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis of Ruth, Nev., were here to see their father, Dan Ferguson, who is a patient pa-tient in the Milford Valley Hospital. 9 Mrs. Lola Bridge and son Teddy spent a few days in Salt Lake with her brother in law and sister, Mike and Vicki Taylor. R At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Young for the Mother's Moth-er's Day week end were their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woodbury and Hurricane, who Is art teacher at Hurricane High School. m Mr. and Mrs. D a r r y 1 Schramm and three children spent the Mother's Day week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schramm. Mr. and Mrs. Lamarr Morris Mor-ris and two children are vacationing, vaca-tioning, visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McDowell, also Mr. and Mrs. Claude Morris Mor-ris and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tanner, all in the Los Angeles area. $ Ron and Vicki Turner and baby of Salt Lake spent last week end at the homes of parents Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Lunn Turner. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham on Mother's Day were their son and daughter daugh-ter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bingham of Salt Lake, also Mr and Mrs. Jule Gillins of Minersville. Min-ersville. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Don Elmer and Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Kirk returned this week from Storm Lake, Iowa, where they attended attend-ed the 25th wedding anniver-I anniver-I sary of Mrs. Elmer's brother. Mrs. Vilate Lang spent Mother's Moth-er's Day in Salt Lake with her children. Ralph and. Wendy Pectol and baby of Salt Lake spent Mother's Moth-er's Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holm. 8 Cecil and Alice Alvey of Rrmlder called at. the homp of daughter Jan, and the Young's daughter Thea Kaye and a University of Utah friend, Suzan Ori. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Whittaker were in Salt Lake last week and visited their son in law and daughter, Ronald and Judy Bailey. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Powell of Delta, newlyweds, spent the week end with his grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Vilcock. C Mothers' Day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Usher Wilccck wers their daughter Sandra, a CSU student, and a nephew, John D .Wilcock of her brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Munk. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hol-lis Hol-lis have returned from a visit with their son in law and daughter, Jack and Afton Bock-woldt, Bock-woldt, and two sons Rodney and Keith. While there they attended a piano recital, at which 10 year old Keith participated, par-ticipated, and received awards from his teacher as the student who had practiced most and the student who had made the most progress. Rodney, 13, competing at Layton Junior High School track meet, took first place in the shot put and second in the broad jump. O Bert Wynaught is in Salt , Lake on a business trip. O John Horton and a friend, Albert Tohinolia of Provo, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Horton. John will graduate from Trade Tech, May 28, after a two-year course in carpentry, e Mrs. Carla Anderson and baby Rodney of Toledo, Ohio, spent Tuesday through Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles McCulley, and also visited her brother in law and .: Dyke and Mary Jane LeFevre ,en route home. j n, iviis. Isobelle Cox is in Salt I Lake to see her brother, Wallace Wal-lace Kirkman, who recently underwent surgery, e Rolin and Nancy Kreuchi enjoyed en-joyed the week end in Las Vegas. Kathy Killam of Salt Lake spent Mother's Day in Milford with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Killam, and other relatives. rela-tives. p Mrs. Thelma Ingram of Los Angeles spent Thursday thru Sunday with her brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Rogers. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Thurland D. Sly have returned from Minneapolis, Min-neapolis, Minn., where they spent two weeks and assisted their son Russell and family in moving to Hermosa Beach, Calif. Russell is a pilot for Northwest Airlines. The Slys returned to Salt Lake by plane. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Kohler pnd baby of Salt Lake spent last week end with his parents, par-ents, Dr. and Mrs. L. F. Kohler, en route to California. This week end the Kohlers' daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Madelyn Mash and children of Salt Lake, will be here when Dr. Kohler celebrates cele-brates his birth anniversary on May 17. |
