Show News of the Students and Activties at Milford High School By LINDA SHIELDS 7 f J (This Week's "Tiger Tracks" written by Connie Kirk This week has been quite an exciting week for the students cf MHS. Tuesday morning two fine assemblies were presented to the school. One was Delta's traveling assembly. It consisted consist-ed of vocal numbers, a dance and a combo, which was enjoyed en-joyed by everyone. The second assembly was given by four patients from the State Mental Hospital. They each told of their experiences, exper-iences, how the hospital is run and what it has done for them. Then, the time was turned over to the students to ask any questions they might have on the subject. It was a very interesting and worthwhile discussion. dis-cussion. o Wednesday morning, bright i and early at 5:30, the Senior Class left on their annual "Senior "Sen-ior Sluff." This day was spent at the State Mental Hospital, Hogle Zoo, and that night they went to a banquet. Thursday's schedule included a fun-filled trip to Lagoon. After this, 25 weary seniors will return to Miliord. o The scene on Friday will be that of hard-working students cut on the MHS campus. It will be M-Day at the high school. After a morning of working and cleaning up the school grounds, the students will enjoy various events, including in-cluding a relay from the mountains, moun-tains, a powder-puff football game, girls' goat milking contest, con-test, pancake making contest, and a boys' tug-of-war. To top off M-Day activities, the Journalism Dance will be held on the black-top. |
