Show CITY DADS OKEH AIRPORT WORK Milford's City Council, after lengthy discussion, debate, and some disagreement, approved constriucton of four T-hangers and an office ibuilding at the municipal airport, to replace the buildings destroyed by winds more than a year ago. Financing of the construction construc-tion will be by a $13,428 interest-free loan from the State Aeronautics Commission, a $1500 grant from the Aeronautics Aeronaut-ics Commission, moneys on hand and the 3-mill tax levy approved earlier this year. Bids for furnisihng gasoline to be sold at the airport have been called for, with one ibid already in providing for a city profit on gas sold at the airport air-port . Other business at the regular regu-lar Monday meeting was routine, rou-tine, with the City Fathers inspecting a plan of proposed Milford Lions Club improvement improve-ment and beautification of "Library "Li-brary Hill," presented by E. L. Smith and Hy Tolley, and approving ap-proving revision of the city ordinances or-dinances submitted by City Attorney At-torney Sam Cline. The ordinances ordi-nances will be printed in book form by The Beaver County News, and will be published serially in The News. This will be the first revision revi-sion of the ordinances since 1924. |
