If a pesticide is old, it might be best to. dispose of it. Those pesticides ; which are still effective ef-fective should be stored where they will : not be accessible to children, i pets or livestock. Dusts and granules should be stored in a dry place and liquid liq-uid pesticides should be stored where they will not freeze. Farm pesticides should be stored away from human foods and animal feeds. Disposable pesticides can be buried or taken to an approved ap-proved sanitary landfill and disposed of in such a manner as to prevent the pollution of any waterways. |
