Show 38 to Graduate From Milford Hi Milford's 38 graduating students stu-dents will begin their pre-commencement pre-commencement week activities with the traditional "senior J sluff on Wednesday and Thursday, June 18 and 19, then the entire student body will gather in the LDS Chapel for the Baccalaureate services at 7 p. m. Sunday, May 22. Dr. William E. Miller, president of Weber State College, will be the Baccalaureate speaker. Theme of graduation, set for 8 p. m. Friday, May 27, is "Completion of high school provides only a stepping stone to the challenge of the modern mod-ern complex environment we live in." Kent Mellor, son of Grand Mellor, will deliver the class president's welcome, and honor students addressing the assemblage will be Gary 'Tomsik, 'Tom-sik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Tomsik; Steven Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Miller; and Mike Symond, son of Dr. and Mrs. David A. Symond. William A. Low, vice president presi-dent of the Beaver County Board of Education, will present pre-sent the diplomas to the graduating grad-uating students. Preceding the graduation exercises, ex-ercises, at a 1 p. m. honor assembly as-sembly Friday, honor students Keith Gillins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins; Joan Edwards, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards, and Judy Whittaker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arland S. Whittaker, will give essayist addresses. Awards and scholarships also will bo presented at the afternoon assembly. |
