Show COMING UP AT THE MUSIC HALL Jimmy Dean will present his show at Valley Music Hall April 25 to 30. Appearing along with Jimmy Dean will be Molly Bee, Jimmy's TV Hound Dog buddy Rowlf, and the Chuck Cassey Sinjv.s. Since the fail of 196!, Jimmy Dean has been one of the hottest recording stars in the country. A tall, light haired, blue eyed, folkscy kllow, with a Texas drawl, Jimmy Dean has made a total figure in record sales of 5 million in 13 months. For example, the total sale of "Big Bad John," which Jimmy composed com-posed himself, needs an IBM assist in order to compute it. Dean's versatile talents were showcased during a week of guest hosting the Tonight Show on NBC last summer. The ratings for the show that week were second only to Jerry Lewis' stint as host during dur-ing the interim months before Johnny Carson took over . Jimmy Dean has been married mar-ried for 12 years to a girl from Washington, D. C. They have three children. Molly Bee abhors the term "veteran," yet she is a veteran of every phase of show business busi-ness except burlesque. She started as a very young type in radio, and then transferred her allegiance to television before be-fore trying motion pictures and finally the "nitery circuit." All this plus recording and making mak-ing personal appearance at fairs. She is an all-around entertainer en-tertainer capable of handling singing chores along with the best, emceeing, dancing, trading trad-ing gags, or just plain looking beautiful. She has appeared around the world, having traveled with Bob Hope through Europe, then into the East on her own. She has played almost every state fair in 'the country, and has appeared as a regular on several sev-eral shows and a guest on many. Miss Bee stands 5 ft 4 and weighs 115 lbs. She has honey hon-ey colored hair and "China blue eyes." Tickets for the Jimmy Dean show are available by writing Valley Music Hall, P O Box 222, North Salt Lake. |
