Show SOMETHING TO CROW ABOUT Last week we reprinted an editorial written by Bill Wilson, editor of the Fillmore newspaper, pointing out that the publishers of the 'Rooster Valley" (Richfield) throaway don't have much to crow about, what with making mak-ing a big deal out of "specials" that could be purchased at lower prices on this side of the mountains. This week we aren't bucking the Richfield and Cedar City or anyone else that's after the Beaver County spending spend-ing money. We're crowing . . . and we really have something some-thing to crow about. Take a look at the REAL specials offered by Warren Johnson during his Spring Sale ; take a look at the REAL specials advertised by Valley Builders; stop in and see John Jimenez at his Grand Opening, and buy a tire for a penny; take a good look at the Free Prizes Elwood is offering as part of his "Race Horsing" game. These are really something to crow about. And these Milford merchants, who each week offer their merchandise at prices competitive with any in Cedar City or "Rooster Valley," are LOCAL business men; they guarantee their merchandise and they are HERE every days of the year to back up their guarantee. You don't have to drive 50 or 100 miles to TRY to get an adjustment if you're not satisfied with the deal. And Milford purchasers should remember something else ... the Rooster Valley or Cedar City merchants are out after your dollar, and that's all they're interested in. They don't pay one cent in Beacer County or Milford taxes to help support OUR schools, our fire department, our youth recreation programs, our churches, build our roads ... but the dollars YOU spend in other communities communi-ties helps builcf THEIR communities. Think about it! |
