Show Huge Crowd Sees Good Variery Show A standing-room-only crowd packed the MHS Auditorium last Saturday ever.ing ' for the Milford City Youth Committee's Variety Show to kickoff the Centennial Year Events and to help raise money for the Centennial. The' excellent crowd was entertained en-tertained by top talent from throughout the area and as far away as Cedar City. Steve Workman and Kenny Yardley, often assuming the characters of Charlie Brown and Snoopy they portrayed in a school musical mu-sical this past winter, acted r Master of Ceremonies and introduced in-troduced acts. The successful event raised S220.00 for the Centennial Committee Com-mittee after expenses were paid. Hilda Shields, adult member of the Youth Steering Committee and co-chairman of the show with Steve Workman and Kevin Brox said, "It could 'have been more, but we had to let the performers in free." Those three along with Cindy Jones, ticket sales: and Shauna Walker, Advertising Ad-vertising were the committee, but they utilized help from any and all who offered it. They especially es-pecially thanked Nick Swain a"d Lucie Hardy for their special spec-ial efforts. And of course, all of the performers who made it possible. Brad and Shirley Whittaker; pantomime, Shelly Fisher; clarinet solo, Kirt Short; Adagio da'ce, Debbie Demille and Lee Hunsaker; barbershop quartet, Herzog, Lund, Sullivan and Anderson; musical saw, Bonnie Easton; song, Steve and Kenny. |
