Clinton and Verna Thompson were in American Fork on Friday Fri-day for the graduation of a granddaughter, who is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Dale Murdock. Eulalia Davis went to Nampa, Sen. Mr. Wolthuis, of Ogden, resigned to run for Congress from Utah's First Congressional District. Mr. Denham, from Provo, has served on the Senator's staff as legislative assistant. Mrs. Etta Rollins has returned re-turned home again after visiting visit-ing for a month in Salt Lake with her daughter. Carrie Miles has been visit, ing her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre for a few days. She has been going to BYU and will return to California Cali-fornia on Wednesday. She attended Dixie College Col-lege in St. George. Ronald and Carolyn Marshall are home for the summer. Ron has been attending school in Logan. Joan Terry of Shelley, Idaho has been visiting her brother, Billie Davis, over the weekend. The Open House for Horace and Mad'ge Carter held Sunday afternoon for their 60th Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary was a very enjoyable affair. Many friends called to wish them well. There were 78 members of the immediate imme-diate family in attendance. That evening the Carter family gave the program in church. Opening Open-ing prayer was given by grandson grand-son Brent Littlefield.
