Show SEGO LILY DIVISION RECEIVES INSPECTOR Sego Lily Division 500. Ladies La-dies Society to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, received re-ceived their inspector, Mrs. Bertha Blackburn, Grand Organizer, Or-ganizer, of Logan, on Sept. 17. Sessions were held at 9:30 a. m. in the IOOF Hall, and at 7 p. m. in the U P Old Timers Clubhouse. At the morning meeting, presided pre-sided over by President Mrs. Vera Cooper, the ladies received re-ceived Mrs. Blackburn and were complimented by the Grand Organizer on the excellence ex-cellence of their floor work. A well appointed noon luncheon lunch-eon was served in the clubhouse, club-house, and at 7 o'clock the ladies and their husbands enjoyed en-joyed a delicious banquet, catered by Mrs. Marie Brink-man. Brink-man. Prize winners were Mrs. Freda Smith, bridge; Ben Cooper, Coop-er, pinochle; Mrs. Myrtle Both-well, Both-well, canasta, and the door prizes went to Mrs. Magdalena White, Mrs. Wanda Holm and Henry Garfield. Accompanying Mrs. Blackburn Black-burn to Milford were Mrs. Bothwell, past first assistant grand vice president; Mrs. Jetta Rouse and Mrs. Ada Ware o Ogden; also Mr. Ware and Mr. Blackburn. Others enjoying the festive evening were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Blake, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Hollis, Mr. and Mrs. Kim-mel Kim-mel Coon, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Smith, Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Garfield, Mrs. Marvel Connell, Mrs. Wanda Holm, Mrs. Mae Colborn, Mrs. Ethel Killam, Mrs. Magdalena White, Mrs. Ethel Smith, Mrs. Margaret Lund, and Mrs. Katherine Shingleton of Las Vegas, member mem-ber of the Milford Auxiliary. |
