Mrs. Leone Lyman of Par-cwan, Par-cwan, grandmother of Hal Edwards, Ed-wards, and Hal's brother in 1 law and sister, Mr. and Mrs Harry Hollingshaus and son Mathew, Freemont, Cal., visited Hal before he left for the Mission Mis-sion Home in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Fullord viously served with the U S Marine Corps and was discharged dis-charged after being wounded, in action in Viet Nam. After spending a few years as a civilian, he re-inlisted in the Army. Alma Davis, and brothers Mr. ' and Mrs. Frank Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson. Thomp-son. Mrs. Phyllis Symond, Mrs. Dorothy Kizer, Mrs. Garnet Garfield and Mrs. Mary Wiseman Wise-man surprised Mrs. Linley Jefferson Jef-ferson with a luncheon on her birth anniversary, Sept. 22. Clyde (Skip) Briscoe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe, is en route to Germany for duty with the U S Army. Skip pre- of Virginia Beach, Va., and a grandson, Kevin Brox, are now in Milford. Kevin returned to resume his school, after spending spend-ing two months in Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Fulford will be guests of their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Brox, until after Christmas. Christ-mas. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Brox and children attended the family fam-ily reunion of Mr. and Mrs. George Brox, parents of Mr. Brox, in Gunnison Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. David Pullem and four children of Salt Lake are in Milford at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Pullem. j David returned to the Capital ( City, while Mrs. Pullem and the children will visit here for several weeks. Byron Pullem, now working in Provo, was also here over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Volney Wise will attend the Union Pacific Foremen's Council in Salt Lake tomorrow (Friday). t Elaine Posey will enroll at the U S U in Logan for the fall quarter, and Ted Posey will attend the U of U. e Mrs. C. M. Shields of Wil-lamantic, Wil-lamantic, Conn., is in Milford at the home of her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shields. Mrs. Shields plans to spend the winter in Florida. Last Sunday she visited vis-ited her granddaughter, Shir-leen Shir-leen Shields, in Salt Lake. A Fred Cerbin of Sanger, Cal., brother of Mrs. Tillie Rae Dixson, and her nephew, Rev. . Dwafme Cerbin of Burbank, I Calif.,, surprised her when they stopped at her home Monday, en route to the Eastern States. Fred plans to visit an aunt in Minnesota on her 93rd birth anniversary, and Rev. Cerbin will attend the First Christian Ministers Conference in Detroit, De-troit, Mich. Mike Gale is in Milford visiting vis-iting his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Gale, and sister Arlene after spending the summer with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. George Den-man Den-man have returned from a two week vacation trip. They enjoyed en-joyed stops at Winnemucca, Nev.; the Oregon beaches, the Redwood Forests and San Jose, Calif., where they were guests of his mother, Mrs. Minnie Denman, They returned via Lake Tahoe and Reno. Hal Edwards left Monday for the Scottish LDS Mission after a week in the Salt Lake Mission Mis-sion Home. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards Ed-wards and his brothers and sisters, sis-ters, Joan, Robert, Richard, Bryan and Mrs. Gayle Hollingshaus, Hol-lingshaus, of California, and Gary and M,yry Weston of Salt Lake were all at the Salt Lake airport to see him off. Leona and Earl Holbrook of Saugus, Calif,, are in Milford to spend a week with her mother, Mrs. Josephine Thompson, Thomp-son, who is confined to the Beaver County Hospital. They are also visiting sisters Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schramm, Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker and Mrs. THIS AND THAT - - WITH PAT 9 A special Bouquet this week to 11 year old Jackie Price and 9 year old Lonniee Price daughters of Ben Price. After school each day and on Saturdays Sat-urdays the two little chefs do their shopping in Jefferson's Jeffer-son's grocery department, and they plan the meals, do the cooking and household shopping shop-ping for the Price home. Billie Stoker and Bobbie James say they are "good little thrifty shoppers." Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe attended the Cedar City airport dedication last Saturday, and also were present at an airport managers' meeting. They assisted as-sisted Art and Sally Wells, Cedar City airport managers', with their flying for charity. The Ladies Auxiliary to the Union Pacific Old Timers will hold their luncheon on Thursday, Thurs-day, Oct. 1st. Mrs. Bertha Cottrell plans to attend Holiday On Ice this week end at the Utah State Fair. She will be the guest of her son and duaghter in law Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cottrell. Mrs. LaPrele Lewis is in Salt Lake for a week calling on her children in that area. Mr. and Mrs. David W. Myers, newlyweds, are living in the Milford Apartments. Recent guests of Mr. and |
