Chaffin were united in marriage Saturday evening in a ceremony performed per-formed in the First Presbyterian Presbyter-ian Church, Elko, Nev., by Rev. Harold C. Van Lee. Following, the newlyweds were feted at a wedding dinner din-ner by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen A. Williams, Milford. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Chaffin Chaf-fin of Bonneville, Miss. For the nuptials the bride selected a blue jersey suit complemented com-plemented by white and red accessories. She wore a corsage cor-sage of white and red roses. The bride's sole attendant was Mrs. Charles Atkin, her sister. Standing as best man was Edward Modecker. The bride holds an Associate Associ-ate of Science degree from College of Southern Utah. At CSU she affiliated with Xi Lambda Tau sorority, served on the student government, was editor of the school newspaper, newspa-per, "The Thunderbird," and was a member of the "Bronc-ettes," "Bronc-ettes," college marching group. She also had studied at the University of Utah, and for the past two years has been employed in the editorial department de-partment of the Deseret News in Salt Lake. Mr. Chaffin is a Specialist E-5 with the U. S. Army at Fort Douglas. He also has served a tour of duty in Viet Nam. The newly married couple will make their home in Murray. |
