Show THIS AND THAT -- WITH PAT Mx. and Mrs. E. L. Smith left Milford Friday no a vacation vaca-tion trip on which they will be accompanied by their daugh-Lucile daugh-Lucile of Denver. Colo. After leaving Denver they will visit Mr. Smith's 92 year old mother in Texas, and also will spend some time in New Orleans. 6 Erma and Sam Cline returned re-turned to Milford Thursday of last week. Mrs. Cline had visited visit-ed her son Dan and family in Pocatello, Idaho, while Mr. Cline, accompanied by friends 'rom Salt Lake, enjoyed his annual fishing trip to Lake Mead. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Grim-shaw Grim-shaw are spending this week in the northern part of the state visiting their children. Mrs. Aileen Conger of Las Vegas plans to be in Milford for Mother's Day. She will visit her mother, Mrs. Edith Osborn, in the Beaver County Hospital, and her sisters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline and Mr. and rMs. C. R. Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ruesch and three children of Kearns were recently in Milford Mil-ford at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Galloway. Gallo-way. Mrs. Susan Glenn, who had been confined to the Beaver County Hospital after suffering suffer-ing a broken hip, is now convalescing con-valescing at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis announce the arrival of their first grandchild, a 6 lb 14 oz daughter born April 25 in Mt. Holly, N. J., to Robert and Sue Davis. Other grandparents of the young lady, named Deneen, are Mr. and Mrs. Jambes Stevenson Ste-venson of Holden. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hardy and two children of Ogden were in Milford over the week end at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy. Enoch Swain, Milford High School Social Studies and History His-tory teacher, will resume his teaching duties next week, after aft-er a three-week illness. Loy Wheeler, Mrs. Charlene Gillins and Jim Willden of Salt Lake will remain in Milford Mil-ford this week to be with Mrs. Margaret Wheeler. Miss Margaret Edge is in Milford and will work at the Beaver County Hospital for a month. Miss Edge, a nurse, is from England. Word has been received that Mrs. Luther Hardy, confined to a Spanish Fork hospital, is improving. Jean and Bill Rummler of Salt Lake were in Milford visiting vis-iting parents and friends. Lela Rowley will leave Friday Fri-day for Reno for a week end fun trip. Mrs. Clotiel Whittaker plans to return to Salt Lake Friday to be with her daughter, Ar-dath Ar-dath Ryan, for a while. Mrs. Ryan recently lost her husband. O. R. Smith has returned to Milford after attending funeral fu-neral services for a brother in in law, James A. Laub, in Nampa, Idaho. Mayor and Mrs. Ray Kizer are in Orovile, Calif., visiting Mrs. Kizer's mother, Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Carlson. |
