Show GIRL SCOUTS ENJOY TRIP Fourteen of Milford's Junior Girl Scouts of Troop 585 met Cedar City Junior Girl Scouts recently and enjoyed a trip to the Pink Sand Dunes near Kanab. The activity fulfilled a requirement for "Sign of the Arrow." En route home they visited Colorado City (Short Creek) Arizona, and enjoyed hamburgers hambur-gers and root beer in Hurricane. Hurri-cane. Leaders ' accompanying the girls were Mrs. Naia H. Beard and Mrs. Charlotte Wise. Cars were driven by Maurine Yard-ley, Yard-ley, Joe Marshall and Merritt Beard. On May 2 the troop took a hike to Granite Pool, where a program was presented around the theme "What Girl Scouting Means to Me." The Girl Scouts are lacking Cadet leaders. Any ladies interested in-terested in working with the children may call Mrs. Merritt Beard. |
