Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed Proposals will be received re-ceived by the State Road Commission Com-mission of Utah, Room 608, State Office Building, Salt Lake City, Utah, until 2 o'clock p. m. Tuesday, March 17, 1964, and at that time publicly opened for construction of a Bituminous Surfaced Roadway and (1) 4-Span Reinforced Concrete T - Beam Structure 207.2' 0. to 0. in Beaver County, Coun-ty, the same being that section of Interstate Highway No. 15 from Wildcat Hill to Pine Creek Hill and a County Road Crossing North of Beaver identified iden-tified as Federal Aid Project No's. 1-15-3(9)121 and 1-15-3 (7)112. The length of the road to be constructed or improved Is 0.445 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approxi-mately as follows: 3460 Tons of Bituminous Material, Ma-terial, 47,950 Tons of Bituminous Bitumi-nous Surface Course and 7380 Tons of Plant Mix Bituminous Seal Coat. The project is to be completed com-pleted in 140 working . days. Prequallfication of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder's bid-der's receiving plans and specifications, spec-ifications, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with the State Road Commission Commis-sion of Utah completed and approved, ap-proved, the required Prequali- fication Statement pertaining to contractor's experience and financial condition. The attention of bidders is directed to the Special Provisions Provi-sions covering subletting or assigning as-signing the contract. In conformity with Section 115 of the Federal Aid Highway High-way Act of 1956 the U. S. Department De-partment of Labor has certified the wage'' rates for this project which are the minimum wages to be paid on this project. These rates are made a part of the contract documents. The attention of bidders is directed to the fact that this Commission has been advised by the Wage and Hour Division, Divi-sion, U. S. Department of Labor, La-bor, that contractors engaged in highway construction work are required to meet the provisions pro-visions of the Fair Labor Standards Stan-dards Act of 1938, (52 Stat. 1060). Proposal forms, plans, cross sections and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and the office of its District Engineer at Cedar City, Utah, where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. bid-ders. Specifications, proposal forms, and plans may be obtained ob-tained at the Commission Offices Of-fices at Salt Lake City, upon application and payment of a fee of $10.00, no part of which will be refunded. Each bidder must submit a letter from an approved surety company guaranteeing guar-anteeing to furnish said bidder vith required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. re-served. Cash, certified check, cashier's cash-ier's check, or approved proposal pro-posal guarantee bond for not less than five per cent of total amount of bid made payable to the State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute exe-cute the contract and furnish contract bond as required.
