Show C OLLEEN BRISCOE, HAROLD JOHNSON EXCHANGE VOWS Mr. Harold William Johnson claimed Miss Nona Colleen Briscoe as his bride in a ceremony cer-emony performed Friday, Aug. 23, in the Methodist Church. Rev. James Sloan officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Following the services the parents of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe, entertained at a garden party for the newly wedded couple and a host of friends. Mr. Johnson is the son of Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Mc-Gill, Mc-Gill, Nev. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an exquisite exquis-ite satin strapless gown created creat-ed with a lace over-coat. Tiny buttons fastened the lapel and matching buttons caught the front of the dress. The gathered skirt was held out with a full underskirt. Her bridal veil was released from a halo. It fell to fingertip length. She carried a cascade of pink and white carnations with ribbon streamers. Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Jean Simoneaux, as matron of honor. She wore a ballerina length gown and carried car-ried a nosegay of pink orchids. or-chids. Miss Delores Allen was maid of honor and Miss Anna Hutchings and Miss Elaine Schow were bridesmaids. They were gowned in pastel afternoon after-noon dresses and wore pink camelia nosegays. A niece of the bride, Denise Simoneaux, the flower girl, wore a delicate white nylon dress. Best man was Keith Lover-idge, Lover-idge, and the ushers were Carl Briscoe, Clark Dalton and Wayne Hardy. |
