Show WPrrr But 9 atfeatd yTLMS A total of $97.6 Billion has been provided by the U S to help foreign nations since 1946. Looks like the Senate is ready to okeh the test - ban treaty, and frankly, we dunno why the U S even bothered to try to negotiate a treaty, and especially one without the on-site on-site inspection guarantee that only a couple of years ago JFK said very flatly was absolutely ab-solutely necessary before the U S would agree to any type of test ban. The commies have broken every agreement we ever had with them, have done everything every-thing but actually go to war to abrogate the Berlin agreement, agree-ment, and have done everything every-thing in their power to humiliate humil-iate the U S in the eyes of the world. Why should we even bother to have anything to do with them. The commies will live up to agreements and treaties only so long as it is , in their interest to do so. When they have attained their purposes, pur-poses, they'll scrap the treaty and ridicule us for being sucker suck-er enough to sign it and live up to it. - We think it's a grave mistake mis-take for the U S to do anything any-thing that would possibly impair im-pair our armed might . . . we should do everything possible to become so strong, so militarily mili-tarily powerful, that instead of threatening to bury us Krushchev Krush-chev will be playing Yankee Doodle Dandy with a pair of trembling knees. Don't worry ... if Washington Wash-ington takes the shirt off your back, they've got some kind of a bureau to keep it in. Hortense Loper, Chatom (Ala.) Call-News. When Johnnie Yee (night chef at the Hong Kong) stopped stop-ped in Wednesday morning he was as happy as if he'd just received word that someone had kicked the Commies out of Peking, but the telegram he showed us was from Senator Moss, expressing the Senator's happiness that Johnnie's wife was to be admitted to the U S, and Johnnie left Wedneav night to meet her in Log Angeles. An-geles. Last spring their four children chil-dren were admitted, but Mrs. Yee, although an American citizen, cit-izen, had been held up in Hong Kong. Johnnie wrote Senator Moss for assistance, the Senator Sen-ator started making Inquiries of the Immigration Department, Depart-ment, and now Mrs. Yee will join her husband and children in Milford. The News joins Johnnie's many Milford friends in adding our thanks to Senator Moss. Dr. Elmer J.
