Show 2-YEAR OLD INJURED WHEN STRUCK BY CAR A 2-year-old Milford child narrowly escaped death last Friday when he darted in front of a car at 101 North Main Street. Mitchell Bealer, son of Mr and Mrs. Al Bealer of 462 South 500 West Street, suffered suf-fered a depressive frontal skull fracture when he was struck by the front bumper of a car driven by Willie Acklin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Acklin, Only because of prompt braking action by the driver, and excellent osbrake nhet . and excellent brakes on the car, was more serious Injury avoided. According to witnesses, the young boy darted in front of the Acklin car, coming from behind a parked car. In seconds sec-onds young Acklin had his car stopped, but not before striking strik-ing the infant, with the bumper bump-er causing an open skull fracture. frac-ture. After treatment at the scene of the accident by Dr. D. A. Symond, and several days of hospitalization and X-rays, the young Bealer boy is now recuperating re-cuperating at his home. |
