Show PERSONALS 9 Mr. and Mrs. Lester Roberts o McMinnville, Oi-e., and their daughter, Mrs. Carlie Anderson and three children of Wells, Nev., have been in Milford visiting at the home of the Roberts' son and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Roberts. C W O and Mrs. Harry Jefferson and grandsons Gary and Terry of Fort Lewis, Wash., were in Milford recent-K recent-K On their return home they ere accompanied by Lani Baxter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Baxter, and they left Terry with the Baxters for a longer stay. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Western and four children of Bountfiul are here at the home of Mrs. Western's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Cox. While here the group plans to motor to Cedar Brakes where they will see the Cox's daughter. Veda, who is employed em-ployed at Cedar Brakes Lodge. Mrs. Virginia Davis and twin daughters will leave June 30 for Salt Lake City, where they will join Mr. Davis. Mr. Davis Da-vis is now superintendent of transportation for the Union Pacific, stationed in Salt Lake. O Mrs. Jean Simonaux and three children of Long Beach, Calif., are in Milford at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe. a Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hol-lis Hol-lis are in Washington, guests of their son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and rMs. Jack Bock-woldt. Bock-woldt. They also plan to visit, the World's Fair in Seattle, Se-attle, returning home in August. Aug-ust. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Smith are in Los Angeles, where Mr. Smith underwent surgery on Tuesday. e Elaine Schow spent her vacation va-cation with relatives in California. Cali-fornia. She was house guest of an uncle and aunt, Gerald and Joan Vinniger, and enjoyed en-joyed getting acquainted with the Vinniger's two week old baby. Returning home, she was met by her parents in Las Vegas. O Linda Hanley of Salt Lake is in Milford with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Hanley. Michael Hanley is in Victor, Idaho, spending the summer with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Johnson. Mrs. Ethel Smith and Mrs. Magdalena White returned from their California vacation last Saturday. They visited in Berkeley with Mrs. Smith's daughter and grandduaghter, Rosalie and Waunice Klein; a son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Smith Jr., in Caster Valley; Val-ley; and in Redwood City vis- Mr. and Mrs. Jake Schow, last Friday en route to their home In Encenitas, California. The couple had been in Oregon calling on her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. N. White. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lowe and two children, Karen and Marie, nad Mrs. Lowe's brothers, broth-ers, Allen and Lamar Jones, and sister Connie Jones, returned re-turned from a vacation trip to Yellowstone National Park and Oceanside Beach, Calif. ited Mrs. White's daughter, Mrs. Mary Kennedy. The two ladies were in San Francisco and other parts of Northern California, calling on relatives and enjoying the sights. Waunice Wau-nice accompanied them to Milford and will spend the summer here. 9 Mrs. Marie Lewis of Clare-mont, Clare-mont, Calif., is in Milford to spend most of the summer with her sisters and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth and Mr. and Mrs. John Weston. Also visiting the Smyths and Westons were Mrs. Harriet Tanner and Mrs. Clara Whitta-ker Whitta-ker of California. The two ladies la-dies are now at The Homestead Home-stead near Heber City. Mr. and Mrs. John Weston attended funeral services in Moroni Tuesday for Mr. Weston's Wes-ton's brother, Alfred Weston. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Smyth and baby have been in Milford Mil-ford at the home of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth. 9 The Neil Smyths are moving mov-ing to Woodland, Calif., where Mr. Smyth will be employed as an appraiser for Los Angeles An-geles County. Mr. and Mrs. Duard Nay and family plan to move to Salt Lake. Mr. Nay, wha has been car clerk for the Union Pacific at ' Milford, will continue his employment with the U P. Mrs. Erma Nay and son and daughter, Duard Nay and Mrs. Gladys Whittaker, attended funeral services in Reseda, Calif., last Saturday, for Mrs. Nay's son in law, George Jensen, Jen-sen, husband of Mrs. Donna Jensen. Mrs. Nay remained in Reseda to be with her daughter for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stoker are in the northern part of California, spending their vacation va-cation with their son Dean and family in San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth plan to spend their vacation in the Northwestern States. Visiting at the Cecil Stewart home are Mrs. Stewart's sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Velva Waters and Mrs. Claudia Peterson, both of Las Vegas. O Cecil Stewart has been working with a construction company in Las Vegas the past month. Mrs. Stewart and children plan to move to the Nevada City as soon as the home they are building is completed. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Atkin have purchased the Al Bealer home at 102 North Main. Mr. and Mrs. W. K. White-hurst White-hurst stopped at the home of her son in law and daughter, |
