Show ' nib WEEK IN MINERSVILLE C A Farewell Testimonial was held in Las Vegas for Robert Eyre, son of Mr. and Mr". G. E. Eyre, prior to his leaving to serve an LDS mission to the Scottish-Irish mission. Elder Lawrence Kobert Dot- son of Torrance, Calif., leff March 12 for an LDS mission in Louisville, Ky. He is a son of Mrs. Betty Lou House of Torrance, and Mark Dolson of Milford. Week end visitors at the Dale Dotson home were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Dotson and sons of Kearns and Mrs, Nancy Dotson Sisneros of Boulder, Nev. it Mr. an.! Mrs. Frank Pryor spont the: week end in Ely, Nev., visiting th :ir granddaughter, grand-daughter, Sheri Limb, who is scriou ly ill. Mrs. Amanda Nolder, who had spent the labt two weeks in Ely, motored home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Ashworth and Johnny of Ely have been here visiting Mrs. Augusta Marshall and other relatives. Janet Eyre spent spring vacation va-cation in Cedar City with her sisters, Mrs. Joan Myers and Mrs. Jeanne Edwards. Janet also celebrated her 12th birthday birth-day on March 12. Tommy Marshall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Faye Marshall, celebrated cele-brated his 10th birthday this week. 9 Colleen Truman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman, celebrated her second birthday birth-day March 10th. Madelyn Eyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, celebrated her birthday with a party enjoyed with her many friends on March 14th. 0 Minersville Ward Relief Society So-ciety held their work and business bus-iness meeting this week. They are now preparing for their annual birthday bazaar. 9 Mrs. Russell Muir, and three children of Denver, Colo., have been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn. While here Mrs. Elma Blackburn, Black-burn, Jackie Muir and her children went to Salt Lake City to visit Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Blackburn. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dalton have returned home from California, Cal-ifornia, reporting George Dalton Dal-ton "improving" at present. 9 George Banks of Parowan has been here visiting his mother, Mrs. Armina Banks. Armina is now in Salt Lake visiting her son and family,-Mr. family,-Mr. and Mrs. Norman Banks Mr. and Mrs. Wells Banks and family spent the week end in Henderson, Nev., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Royal Wood and family. 9 Mrs. Lillian McKnight spent spring vacation in San Diego, Calif., visiting her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. David McKnight, and in Los Angeles with her daughter Eve and son in law, Lee Hendrix. 9 Stan McKnight spent several sever-al days last week in Ogden on business, and also attended the basketball games in Provo. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gil-lins Gil-lins and Susan spent several days last week in Salt Lake and Provo. |
