Show Julian Arnold Services Held in Las Vegas Funeral services were held Friday Fri-day in Las Vegas for Julian Arnold, Arn-old, former Milford resident, who diedMarch 20 in Las Vegas following fol-lowing a heart attack. The services were in the Seventh Sev-enth Ward Chapel, and burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Las Vegas. Mr. Arnold was born March 7, 1910, in Sacramento, Ky. He came to Utah in 1935 with a CCC contingent. con-tingent. August 26, 1937, he married mar-ried Margaret Munford, and they made their home in Milford until moving to Las Vegas in 1957. He was a barber at the time of his death. In Milford he had been employed as a barber, and as a brakeman and conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church. Surviving are his widow; four daughters and a son, Mrs. Sara-leen Sara-leen Cabrero, Judy Rae Arnold, Carol Jean Arnold, Shirley Mae Arnold, and Edwin Arthur (Teddy) (Ted-dy) Arnold, all of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; three brothers broth-ers and two sisters, Robert Arnold, Arn-old, Miss Lottie Arnold and Mrs. A. E. Schlichting, all of Detroit, Mich.; Ellie and Raymond Arnold of Central City, Ky. Milford residents taking part ill the services were Shirl Nichols, who read the obituary; Vance Fisher sang "The End of a Perfect Per-fect Day," and pallbearers Jim Brannon and Jack Bohart. Also attending the services from Milford Mil-ford were Marion Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gillam. |
