Anyway, we're going . . . and we'll see the Milford folks again next Monday. Last week we published a news item about the Van Horn's suffering suf-fering a fire loss at the California Cali-fornia home, while they were vacationing, va-cationing, and stated their insurance insur-ance on the place had lapsed. Pat obtained the information from a relative. We're happy to report that the information was erroneous. Joseph Jo-seph R. Murdock,, Milford realtor real-tor and insurance man, advises that the policy had not lapsed, and the claim is now being settled. set-tled. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Mower, son in law and daughter of Frank Thompson, motoring from Omaha, Nebr., to Denver, passed a car wiili a blue horse trailer and the inscription: "Champion Racing Mayer, Milford, Utah." Lots of folks who have passed the Milford AT&T Building a few hundred or few thousand times and had no idea of what goes on inside the attractive building will have an opportunity, opportun-ity, July 28, to find out. The AT&T and Mountain States will be co hosts at an open house, and the entire county is invited to tour the building and see tile operation of their regular installations, instal-lations, plus a great deal of new electronic equipment. Free refreshments, too!! CARD OF THANKS D. A. Fowles of Milford asked us to publicly thank the Fire Laddies for their prompt and efficient ef-ficient efforts recently when his garage caught fire. The Volunteer Fire Department Depart-ment is always prompt and always al-ways efficient. They don't expect thanks Mr. Fowles, when they answer an alarm but they sure do appreciate it Really enjoyed the Old Timers steakfry at Ranch Canyon last Saturday, as guest cf Clarence and Edith Grimshaw.
