Show Joseph R. Murdocks Feted at Open House On 50th Anniversary The golden wedding anniversary observance of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Murdock was complete when their five chidlren and their families fam-ilies were present for the occasion: occa-sion: Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Dunkley of Saratoga, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Ogburn of Yuba City, Calif.; Mr. ar:d Mr- Ribert E. Murdock -f Scch Plains. N. J.; Mr. and ''-s. Gordon Murdock of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Murdock of Salt Lake City. Other out of town relatives here for the occasion included Mr. Jiurdock's . three brothers and iheir families, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Lin-coln Murdock of Belvedere, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. John P. Murdock of Belvedere; Waldo Murdock Sr.; Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Murdock Jr. and son Joseph R. Murdock III, all of Sacramento, Calif.; and a cousin, cous-in, Dr. and Mrs. Jch C. Murdock of Beaver. During the open house Sunday afternoon more than 150 relatives -ind friends called at the Murdock home on 100 West Street. Flame orchids sent from Hawaii by a granddaughter, Mrs. Allen Wood-ell, Wood-ell, and golden chrysanthemums and yellow roses were cleverly arranged ar-ranged adding to the beauty of the front room. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Murdock were honored at a dinner attended by family members and close friends. Tuesday evening the Eastern Star honored the' couple, and a cake made and decorated by Mrs. Lesa Acklin was served with bev-L bev-L erages in the banquet room of the , Masonic Temple. |
