Show Recent callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Rollins were Mrs. Rollins' brother and sister in I law, Mr. and Mrs. Flown Irwin. They were on a wedding trip and stopped in Milford for several days before returning to their home in Brentwood, Calif. Mrs. Orlynn Gray and son of Lae Ving, Calif., are here until Sept. 5 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Stott. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Stang have returned to Milford to live. Mr. Stang, a Union Pacific employee, had been working at Faust for the past several years. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Banks spent Monday in Enterprise calling on Mrs. Banks' parents, who have been ill. Spending a few weeks in Milford Mil-ford are Mr. and Mrs. Ted Ange-bine Ange-bine of Henderson, Nev. They are at the home of their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Muzny. The group enjoyed a trip to Navajo Lake and Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Angebine stayed with 'the Muzny's children while the couple spent a few days at Grand Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Horton, new-lyweds, new-lyweds, are living in one of the Hughes rental homes formerly occupied oc-cupied by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lokey. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bradshaw are expecting friends Mr. and Mrs. Guy W. Nesom and two children of Natchitoches, La., at their home next week. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Williams were in Enterprise Saturday evening, eve-ning, to assist with installation of new officers of the Enterprise American Legion post, and enjoy a dutch-oven turkey dinner. Steve Williams will leave Saturday Satur-day for Minneapolis, Minn., to attend at-tend sessions of the national American Legion Convention. Mr. Williams has been assigned to the convention committee on Hospitals Hospit-als and Medical Services. Mrs. Williams and the children will accompany ac-company him as far as Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Griffiths and daughter Elaine are vacationing and visiting relatives in California. Cali-fornia. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Miller and daughter, Mrs. Katherine Webster of Kearns, were here over the Items of Interest a About People You Know week end at the home of Mrs. Miller's Mil-ler's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths. They also came to see their son Jchnnie who has been in I .Milford this summer helping his j grandfather on the farm. Johnnie will return home on Friday. 3 Mrs. Katherine Heslington has returned to Milford to be with her daughter, Mrs. Morgan Griffiths, after a visit in Salt Lake with another an-other daughter, Mrs. Mae Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Emal Parkinson and two children returned to their home in Pleasant Grove after spending ten days with Mrs. Ella Parkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Arnold of Las Vegas spent Saturday through Wednesday in Milford. They were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mont Griffiths, and visited Mrs. Arnold's Ar-nold's father, George Litchfield. George, son of the Griffiths, returned re-turned to Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold, for a week's visit. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Collier have returned to Milford after spending the summer in the home town, Vernal. Mr. Collier will resume re-sume his teaching this winter at the Milford High School. Mr. and Mrs. John Gnmshaw are on vacation, spending a few days in the northern part of the state. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Baker and three children of Green River, Wyoming, who were here on vacation, vaca-tion, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker enjoyed trips last week to Bryce, Zion National Park and Grand Canyon, and an overnight stop at Las Vegas and Hoover Dam. The group also visited Lehman Caves. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Baker and family left Saturday for their home. e Visitors from Tallahassee, Fla., were Dr. and Mrs. Barron B. Scarborough Scar-borough and son David. They were calling on Mrs. Scarborough's sisters sis-ters and their families, Mr. and Mrs. John Hardy and Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Banks. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Blake were Mrs. Blake's nephew and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Sundberg and two children, and a niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bob McCartney, Mc-Cartney, and five children, of Butte, Mont. Mrs. Magdalena White is in Redwood, Red-wood, Calif., with her daughter. e Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lang returned from, a pleasant vacation trip thru Wyoming and Yellowstone Park. This week's visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lang are Mrs. Lang's daughter, Mrs. Bruce Bell and 2-month-old son, and Mrs. Lang's granddaughter, Susan Stephens, Ste-phens, ail of Salt Lake. A son in law and daughter pf Max Mecham, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Barlow and son Rickie, and a cousin Sharrah of Maywood, Calif., have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mecham. Mrs. Orlyn Johnson and three children of Salt Lake stopped for a day's visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nils Johnson. She was en route to Parowan to visit her parents. Mrs. Sheldon Albrecht and family fam-ily of Norwalk, Calif., spent two weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Reese. Sheldon was here for a week, but had to return re-turn to Norwalk earlier. Larry Reese is spending his vacation va-cation in California visiting . his brothers in law and sisters, the Sheldon Albrechts and the John O'Boskys . Driving by car and arriving in Milford Wednesday of last week Were Mrs. Donna Gunther and baby of Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Emma Mayer of Shatter, Cal. Mrs. .Gunther was visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Annie Denny, and Mrs. Mayer called on her sons, Leo, Lloyd and Gene Mayer. A BRIDAL open house was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Clements last Saturday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Winn who were married July 31st in Ely, Nev., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Paice. Bishop Evasonic performed the ceremony in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Clements and son Craig, Mrs. Harold Winn, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Paice. Mr. and Mrs. Max Mecham have returned from their vacation. A j Mocham family reunion at Oak City was ;ttended by the couple, after which they spent a few days with relatives in the northern part of the state. Rexburg, IdrJio, was their next stop, where they called on Mrs. Mecham's sister and family. fam-ily. They also visited friends in Caliente. Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Rogers and j children have returned to their home in Fresno, Calif., after visiting vis-iting in Milford with Mr. Rogers' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers, and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Magill are spending a few days at Navajo Lake. |
