Show THIS WEEK IN MINERSVILLE By Mrvbelle Eyre Mr. and Mrs. Lester Roberts of Oregon are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall. Miss Eve McKnight is home for the holiday season' from Provo, where she is attending school. e David Griffiths is home on furlough fur-lough during the holidays to visit his brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Griffiths. Also home on leave from the Army is Ted Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Cusick and family are here visiting her parents, Mr. and Ms. Hayward Carter. Mrs. Anna Rao Carter returned home Saturday after being in Salt Lake for medical attention the ipast three weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pearson, Mi', and Mrs. Walter Pearson and I Mrs. Alvaretta Robinson were in Provo Monday shopping and visiting. vis-iting. Gene Pearson returned home with them to spend the holidays. holi-days. Driving new cars in Minersville are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pearson, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Albrecht, and 'Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor. Everyone enjoyed the Christmas Christ-mas program presented Friday evening by the Minersville school. Each class was represented and they had a large crowd. Santa Claus visited the children on Tuesday evening in a special ward Primary party held in the church. Each of the classes sang a Christmas carol. The ballet class did a specialty number before Santa appeared to talk with each child and present him with a sack of candy. Mrs. Elma Blackburn and Irma Jean left right after Christmas for Denver to visit Mr. and Mrs. Russell Rus-sell Muir and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Christensen and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Stan McKnight left Christmas Day for San Diego to visit Mr. and Mrs. David Mc- Knight and family. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Eyre are here from Las Vegas visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre. Mrs. Nell Eyre is visiting her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wunderlich of Milford, during the holidays.. Her health is improving. |
