Show W. P. Morford Honored For Services by Milford Television Viewers W. P. Morford was honored guest at a steak dinner served last week at the Hong Kong Cafe in Milford, and was presented with an appropriately engraved watch by Mayor Ray Kizer, representing the television viewers of Milford. The televiewers had contributed contrib-uted to a fund for purchase of the watch and the dinner, in appreciation ap-preciation of Mr. Morford's efforts which were instrumental in bringing three channels of television to Milford. In his remarks preceding the presentation of the watch, Mayor Kizer emphasized that the televiewers tele-viewers of Milford appreciated the work of all members of the volunteer volun-teer television committee, and had singled out Mr. Morford as recipient recip-ient of the award because of the leading role he had taken in the j work. Other members of the commit-j commit-j tee, all of whom have devoted countless hours of their free time to the television enterprise, are Roy L. Young, O. C. Koch, John Grimshaw, P. L. Smith, Ross Patterson, Pat-terson, A. D. Carter, and Mayor Kizer. |
