Show Beaver Singing Mothers Present Cantata The Singing Mothers of the Beaver Second Ward presented a Christmas cantata, "Carols of Christmas," Tuesday evening in the ward chapel. With the Nativity scene as the stage setting, the 20-voice choir, attired in soft pastel costumes, presented all the beautiful Christmas Christ-mas carols featuring duets, trios and solos. Macel Horton was director, di-rector, with Mae C. White as organist. Ladies participating were Nell Smith, Thelma Griffiths, Carol Smith, Anona Swindlehurst, Mabel Smith, Lyla Terry, Alta Hickman, Fae Hollingshead, Mary Jane Seaman, Sea-man, Vilda Esplin, Lucile Mux-dock, Mux-dock, Isabell Muir, Vilda Smith, Jackie Nowers, Carol Carter, Glenna Stevens, Peggy Ruesch, Jewel Williams, Esta Cox and Norma N. Smith. Portraying the Nativtiy scene were Louise Lindsey, Grant Esplin, Esp-lin, Darle Smith, Ida Tattersall, Ireta Morris, Roger Murdock, Mitchell Mit-chell Seaman and Roy Dalton. For the finale number, male voices added were those of Kent Hansen, Hal Lund, Ken Williams and Gilbert Gale. |
