Show THIS WEEK IK MINERS V1LLE By Marybelle Eyre Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Limb of Henderson, Nev., and Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Lamb of St. George spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Gray. The following week end Mr. and Mrs. Gray were in Las Vegas visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Lamb and Mr. and Mrs. Kay Lamb. Mrs..Beulah Wood arrived home last week after spending six weeks in Maine with a son in "law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pachico and new daughter Janette, born Nov. 4. Mr. and Mrs. John Williams and Mrs. Jeff Marshall spent three days in Salt Lake shopping this week. 1 ' Val Marshall has been home for a few days en route from Montana to his new base in California. The Minersville Elders held their Christmas party Friday evening. eve-ning. A large crowd was on hand for the games and lovely supper. After the final course the group all joined in singing Christmas carols. Mr. and Mrs. i Thurman Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre and Mrs. Melva Eyre, were in Provo Wednesday attending funeral services ser-vices for their cousin, Robert Eyre. Melbourne Eyre of Parowaii joined them in Beaver. Mrs. Nelda Tanner of California arrived Tuesday to spend a few days with her mother, Mrs. Nellie Eyre. Her husband Ralph joined her on Monday. .. . A large crowd was on hand last Saturday to wish Uncle Dave McKnight many happy returns re-turns of the day on his 90th anniversary. ' Mr.' and Mrs. Pat Dotson are I here spending a few days with her I father, Joseph Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Neilsen: left Tuesday for Japan, where Dale will be stationed for three years with the U S Air Force. Mrs. Lillian Lambson. celebrated celebrat-ed her birth anniversary Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Marshall Mar-shall and family joined them during dur-ing the evening. Max Carter spent the week end in Salt Lake with his wife, Anna Rae, who has been receiving medical med-ical attention the past few weeks. She is expected to return home this week end. The Minersville Relief Society held their Christmas party Tuesi-day, Tuesi-day, with a large crowd of ladies on hand to enjoy the games, program pro-gram and refreshments. Presents were exchanged during the afternoon. after-noon. The D U P camps joined together togeth-er Friday to hold their annual Christmas party. The crowd was large and the afternoon very en-r en-r joyable, and gifts were exchanged. |
