Show GREENVILLE By MRS VIVIAN EDWARDS I I i A guest on Saturday evening i at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Blackner was Earl Dob-son Dob-son of Wisconsin, who was converted con-verted to the L D S Church at Wichita Falls, Texas, by Elder Kay Blackner and Elder Whipple, Whip-ple, of Arizona. He was traveling travel-ing to northern Utah and stopped stop-ped in Greenville to enjoy a chicken dinner with the Black-ners. Black-ners. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thompson and family of Winnemucca, Nev., arrived Monday for a ten-day ten-day vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Thompson. Mrs. Julia Griffiths returned home Tuesday after a month's vacation with her daughters in Idaho and Washington. Douglas Atkin of Ruth, Nev., came back to spend the rest of the summer with Mr. and Mrs. King Morris and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morris. Mrs. Ann Blackner was admitted ad-mitted to the Beaver County Hospital Monday for medical treatment. 1 Mrs. Anna Lou Williams and baby visited over the week end with her parents, the Lester Browns at Richfield. j Mr. and Mrs. Don Thomas ' and son enjoyed the week end j with Mrs. Alice Barton and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Ford-ham Ford-ham of Salt Lake arrived Sun-da Sun-da morning for a visit with the G. A. Fordhams. They also spent a day in Beaver Canyon and visited Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park Deiore returning re-turning home. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Fordham and-, family were in Cedar City Tuesday on business. Elder Gilbert Yardley was the speaker in sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Blackett were in town from Tuesday evening until Monday morning before returning to St. George. O Jay Atkin and Ross Calvert enjoyed a trip to Bryce and Zion Canyon Friday and Saturday, Satur-day, and visited Bob Calvert, who is employed at Bryce. Mrs. Margaret Barton and family and Mrs. Alice Barton motored to Fillmore Friday for fruit, and while there visited Mr. and Mrs. West Barton. - " i |
