Show ' Trash Fish to Be Killed at Puffers Lake Utah's Department of Fisl: anci Game will chemically treal six lakes and one stream during the late angling season this year in a continuation of the department's de-partment's program to eradicate eradi-cate trash fish from game fish waters in the state. Included in Ihis yaar's program pro-gram will be Puffers Lake in Ihe Beaver Mountains. Late September - October treatment is now planned to give anglers as long as possible to catch any game fish now in these waters and to assure a more complete kill of trash 'fish during the late season low-water low-water period, and when all eggs from these fish have hatched out. The waters will be planted in the spring of 1958 with two to three-inch trout. They will remain closed for a year alter the restocking to give the trout time to reach legal and larger size as they mature in the wild at a saving of the fishery dollar. |
