Murdock, with 18 members present. A book report on "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Nor man Vincent Peale, was given- A dainty luncheon was served by the hostess. THE BEAVER Business and Professional Womens Club met Monday, Feb. 4, at the home oi Mary Tattersall. Naomi Packard Pack-ard conducted the meeting. Topic for the evening was "Careers for Women."' The committee in charge was Sara Bakes, Ruby McMillen, and . Edna Crosby. Anna Stark con-, con-, ducted a discussion on "Women . in Business on the Local Level," and Edna Crosby discussed "Outstanding Women on the National Level." Lurenja Burridge reported on a meeting of all civic groups regarding re-garding landscapin the swim-min swim-min pool park. Louise Farrer dscussed the club's plans in the beautification project, and assured as-sured the club that as soon as water and fill soil is available the landscaping wll begin. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Dean and children have moved to Salt Lake from Orderville. |
