To help these people prepare for their upcoming outdoor adventures, the International Sportsmen's Exposition, in partnership with KUTV Channel 2 and Doug Miller, held the seventh annual International Sportsmen's Exposition at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, Utah, over the weekend. About 10 years ago, while working for KSL, Miller knew there was an opportunity for a show like this, he said. The first couple of expos he sponsored were at the Utah State Fairgrounds during the summer, but for the last seven years, with help from KUTV and 1SE, the expo is different. "This show is more firstof-the-season chance," Miller said. "Everybody has cabin fever; they are looking for a season outdoors; here is all of the toys you need for the outdoors." There were also boats, ATVs, camper trailers and gear upon gear. Weber State University senior Terry Call attended the show on Saturday to see all of the stuff but also to find a sleeping bag for his son, Carter. Call said he attends the show every year. Along with products, several fishing and hunting guide services were present at the show. Reel Women Outfitters out of Jackson Hole, Wyo., has been attending the show for the last five years. The expo has helped Reel Women Outfitters make women more aware of the sport of fly-fishing and realize that it is not intimating, said Tressa Allen, a guide for Reel Women Outfitters.
