'Ww nor Size doesn't always matter By Thomas Hutchinson sports writer The Signpost The Weber State University rugby club has many standout players. But in the mind of the many, no one stands out like T.J. Dunham. Dunham plays scrum half for the Wildcats, and leads his team by example. Dunham grew up in Davis County and attended Davis High School. While in high school, he participated on the rugby and wrestling teams. Dunham started playing rugby when he was a sophomore and has loved the game ever since. When Dunham plays, his wrestling experience is evident by his aggressive tackling take downs. "He looks like a wrestler when he makes his tackles," Paul Soccer's Collins and Henslev honored Weber State senior forward Celeste Collins and freshman forward Natalie Hensley were named to the Cross continued from page All of WSU's top runners ran very well. Weber State placed three runners in the top 10. Jason Schoenfeld finished second, overall, with a time of 24:32:26. Joe Wilson came in fourth and Corbin Talley rounded off the top 10, finishing 10th. Frazier, Wildcat flanker said. "He has a great double leg take down and can take down anyone with it." Two weeks ago, the Wildcats played Idaho State. When the biggest player on Idaho's team got the ball, it was no surprise that Dunham was the manre-sponsible for the giant tumbling down. "Dunham is one of the reasons I still am playing rugby," Frazier said. "I think he is a standout player that makes me feel good about being on the team." What makes Dunham unique is his size. He weighs no more than 130 pounds and a generous estimate about his height would be 5 foot 6 inches. "It's not the size of the boy in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the boy," Jason Conway, Wildcat flanker said. "He has a lot of Big Sky All-Conference Soccer First Team. Collins, an alumnae out of Woods Cross High School, is no stranger to the All-Conference Team, being named to the 1998 All-Big Sky First Team and to the All-Big Sky Second Team in 1999. Hensley was the Lady 'Cats' leading scorer this year recording 1 0 our personal race but disappointed with the team's finish," Talley said. "Overall we are disappointed as a team," Wilson said. Most people think that rugby is dominated by the large and powerful players, but the members on his team would select him in the first round. "He has a lot of heart," Conway said. "And in Rugby, heart is the name of the game." During the course of the season, Dunham has given and received more hits than any other player on the team. After every hit, after every knock down, bruise, broken bone, or battered body, he gets up, looks at the team, and smiles as only he can.
