Andrew Mecham Wayne Branch David Hart Brooke Gant jahmaal Sawyer sophomore freshman computer sophomore freshman science professor What do you think about Marriott food service? "I thought it was pricey for what they give you, and I didn't really enjoy the food that I ate. ..Because I ate there a couple times in the cafeteria, and that made me decide against buying a meal ticket." 'The quality, I enjoy. The quality's fine. They do good work. The people are really friendly. After you've been here a while, you kind of get on a first-name basis with the people that serve your food, and It makes you feel comfortable." "I think it's pretty good. I eat in the Skyroom occasionally, and I think that's really a good deal for the price up there. I like the way they advertise on the Internet... And the Gal-leria, I think, is good." "I think it's really great that they have a lot of variety and give us enough different foods. So I think it's nice to have a different choice every day for lunch." "Expensive. It's good food, but you got to go donate a kidney to eat." Do you think Marriott's contract should be extended? "I wouldn't object to it, but if there's someone that can provide better quality food, then I would go with a different company." "I don't see why not. I mean, they've been doing good service ... I do have reservations about whether or not it's - not a monopoly, but whether or not they've got some ground-hold of some kind in serving food." "Yeah. I don't know why not... The only problem I see is that I know when you have functions. ..I think if we have food on campus, we're obligated to use Marriott." "Yes, but I also think we should look at other options." "Yeah." LETTER TO THE EDITOR Do homework before attack, says nontrad As a member of theNon-traditional Student Center, I would like to express my outrage to Miss Kimberlee Tessean comment that it is "Bullshit" that she can not go into the Non-traditional Student Center. The center is open to anyone. The services are targeted for Non-traditional students, yes, but anyone may use them. Does she realize that there is a center for disabled students, can she use those services? What about the Vetren's Service Center,Multi-cultural Center? There are centers designed forjust about every student need on campus. To call it bullshit only shows me that she has not looked into the services provided by the center and that her views are close-minded and not open to new ideas that will help fellow student achieve their goals here at Weber State. As a Non-traditional student I am proud to me a member of the student body. My experience here has been one of learning and social education. The center has allowed me to come into contact with other students closer to my age.
