Theatre University of Utah's Pioneer Memorial Theatre at the U. of U. is presenting the Royal Shakespearean Company Production "The Hollow Crown" devised and directed by John Barton. "East Lynne, A Snow College presentation, will be presented each evening through Nov. 26. The performance will run through tomorrow night at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale for Harold Gary's and Mike Kel Kelling's "The Sunshine Boys" as they portray two vaudeville stars in the middle of a feud. Tickets for the U. of U. performance may be obtained through Daynes Music by calling 322-1636. Concerts The U. of U. Special Events Center will present "The Beach Boys" in concert Friday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. Prices are $4.50 and $5.50. Tickets for the U. of U. performance can also be picked up at the Competition in Ogden. KRSP and Tape Head Co., present "Bachman Turner Over Drive, Tuesday Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. in the Salt Palace. All seats are reserved $4, $4.50, $5.50 and $6.50. Tickets may be purchased from Toad Tape in Ogden and all ZCMI stores. "The Carpenters" will appear Nov. 24 in the U. of U. Special Events Center at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at $4.50, $5.50 and $6.50 at the University of Utah. Art The WSC Art Guild will be holding their annual Christmas sale Dec. 2-6 in the Union Building. All students and alumni are invited to sell their works during the sale. Entrees to the sale must be given to the Art Department before Nov. 26. Nov. 22-Dec. 13 Weber State College's Art Gallery will honor the outstanding women artists of Utah. Also in the Art Gallery will be featured ceramics and weavings by Sam Moya. These works will be displayed Nov. 22 through Dec. 13. Brigham Young University will sponsor, in their art gallery, paintings and lithographs by Fritz Scholder through Dec. 1. Also featured in the gallery through November will be the works of elementary art and poetry with sculpture by Warren B. Wilson. Hours of the gallery are daily 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. WSC Activities Thursday Dec. 5, the Utah Symphony Orchestra will bring the Weber State College the three dances from "The Battered Bride" by Smetana, Tchaikovsky's Violin concerto in D major with Lilit Gampel as soloist. The performance will also feature Sibelius' Symphony No. 2 in D major. Ticket arrangments can be made through the Ogden Symphony Guild in Ogden. Friday evening's U.B. movie will be "Paper Chase". Admission for students with a student identification card is 75 cents. LDSSA is sponsoring a "Can Dance" at the Institute of Religion, Friday Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. The theme of the dance will be "The Moments We Share" and the Goodtimes committee is asking all students to donate $1.50 or an equivalence for Thanksgiving baskets. The Gffudent Help Center is always listening 392-0188 WSC department annexes course Michael Leming, one of Weber State College's newest instructors for the Sociology department, said a new class is being offered through the department that students might want to add to their winter quarter schedule. The new class labeled Sociology 481 deals with the Sociology of Death, Dying and Beravement. Leming stated that the class would deal in death related experiences such as religious aspects, children outlooks, the dying process and funerals and customs. Leming also stated that there would be special field trips to mortuaries and cemeteries with special lectures from nurses, doctors, Mormon bishops, priests and rabbis.
