"The concert is designed to allow choreographic experimentation and consequently, there will be a great deal of variety in the numbers," explained Sheri Die, instructor. "The best way to watch a modern dance concert of this type is to remain open minded and perceptive, then to respond to each dance personally using one's own experience as a basis for judgment," she said. A featured highlight of the evening will be the performance of "Cchaanceee" choreographed the evening of the performance by the dancers and the audience. Die explained that the audience would fill out a questionnaire indicating the number of dancers to be placed on stage, movement qualities to be performed and other details. "The dancers will then use this as guidelines to improvise a dancing number," she said. J.D. Stokes will choreograph several numbers including "Zara," a jazz dance and "Le Danse," accompanied by live Ae roller CL flute and piano. "Audile," choreographed by Linda Arensbak, Amy Bake, Wendy Nance and Ramona Van-derstappen, who will also dance the number. "Untitled," choreographed by Wendy Nance and Larry Williams, a romantic duet using the theme from Romeo and Juliet Communications Dept. holds speech contest Students interested in participating in the 10th Annual James N.
