Linda, the Acorn, that is, the editor of Acorn, feels she must keep abreast of things, so she begins accomplishing this by working on her reading list. It would appear with Linda's accomplishments in the literary field, she should be editor of the Probe, the campus magazine, instead of Michael Richards, who has been named editor. It's funny how things turn out. Mike, an avid organist, really hasn't the talent to edit a campus magazine, but then his organ playing isn't coming along that well either, so say informed sources. Past features have tried to point out the odd characteristics people have. However, finding something odd about these two was rather difficult. For instance, at the senate meeting, Mike Richards stated that if no one sat next to Wayne Hill, he sure wanted to, 'cause he was going to marry Wayne. There is certainly nothing odd about Mike, however, one might check into Wayne's behavior. Linda insisted that a featuri should not be done on her. She wanted the article to include mainly all about the yearbook. When Doug Wright withdrew from the job as editor of Acorn this year, Linda was given the work to do in the middle of the year. A -5,X BARGAIN? ...only a professional knows Today, all diamonds have determinable value. If a stone has any worthy quality to it, a jeweler can obtain the standard price for it and doesn't need to sell it to you "wholesale." Many so-called "bargain" diamonds have first been marked up in order to be "slashed down." It costs no more to buy your diamond from a reputable firm with qualified personnel to properly evaluate the stone you select. As members of the American Gem Society, you may be assured of both our reliability and proven She put many hours of work into the yearbook that will arrive May 19. Ask her. Linda will tell you about how the yearbook has theme, unity, and other qualities. You might notice that these things are missing in Linda's personality - - she has put her all into this book. Linda, an elementary education major, has been helping Mike with his studies this quarter. Recently, on a trip to New Mexico State University, Linda became an avid BS fan. Well? Mike Richards has participated in a lot of activities this year, somehow they all seem to have slipped my mind. Actually Linda is qualified for her editorship. She has been on the hospitality, special events, and lectures committees. She served as historian of Kyathinia and was recently elected IFC vice president. Shhh! Dor.'t tell Linda about all of these things - - she'll have to start working. Mike, when he's not taking lessons from Linda, is on the editorial board of "Dialogue: a journal of Mormon Thought." He was also a member of the course evaluation committee and has recently begun working as chairman of spirit and orientation committee. It's all right, someone already told him and he's trying to fulfill his duties. However, homework comes first. knowledge.
