To whom it may concern: Notice is hereby riven that, the State crC Utah has tiled in this ottiee a list, No. :.', of lands selected by the said state for the establishment establish-ment and maintenance of a Reform School, under See. 1:2 o! the Act of Congress approved July H), ISab The following tracts, embraced in said list, are in a township containing mineral claims of record : The lot number six (U), of Section seven (7), in Townsli ip forty-one (11), sooth, and limine thirteen (13), west, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. Meri-dian. A copy of said list, so far as it relates to said tracts, by descriptive subdivisions, iias been conspicuously posted in this office, for inspection inspec-tion by any person interested, and by the public pub-lic p-eneraby. During the sixty days next following the date of this notice, under departmental instructions of Nov. 27, ItiIKi (23 L. D., JniU. protests or contests con-tests against tile claim of the Slate to any of the tracts or subdivisions hereinabove described, de-scribed, on the ground that the same is more valuable for mineral than for agricultural purposes, will be received and noted for report to the General Land Ofhee at Washington, D. C. Failure so to protest or contest -within the period specilied will be considered suflicient evidence of the non-mineral character of said tracts, and the selection thereof, belnr otherwise other-wise free from objection, will be recommended for approval.
