Show Antl-Sitiil;iy Traveler. lJuring the last year 1.424 new members mem-bers have joined the British Anti-Sunday Traveling union, raising the membership mem-bership up to 25,32-1. The object of the society is to dissuade persons from all traveling on Sunday. The Shareholders' Sharehold-ers' union presented five memorials against Sunday labor to the Great Northern, South Western, North Western, West-ern, Midland, and Great Western railway rail-way companies respectively. M. E. Deluz carried out inquiries as to the gain or loss following the restriction or suppression of Sunday goods traffic, and the committee deduced the proposition propo-sition that, looking at the question from a business standpoint only, the abandonment of the Sunday goods traffic would not Injure the commercial interests of the British companies. |
