Show i WASHINGTON. Washington, Utah, July 25, 1900. The Tobler Bros, came home on the 23rd inst. Edmund Vanorden arrived home from Milford on the 23rd inst. Andrew Sorrenson and wife of St. George were here on the 24th. Ephriam Hall and wife have gone north with fruit and vegetables. Mrs. Joseph Judd has taken her baby to St. George for medical treatment. Jacob Maxwell and family returned home from Glendale on the 22nd inst. Homer Barron and John Averett intend in-tend leaving tomorrow for Modena- with loads of copper ore. W. D. Chidester and Godfrey Gubler, with their families, have gone to Carter's Car-ter's ranch to visit relatives and for an outing. Miss Matilda Nielson represented Utah as it is, the Queen of the West, on the 24th, and Franklin Barron represented rep-resented Utah as it was. The 24th celebration was a grand success in every way. Some of the Leeds young people were over to the party in the evening come again. |
