Lon Stewart of Kanab was here on the night of the 3rd inst. on his way to Bonelli's ferry, having been commissioned commis-sioned by an Eastern company to look into some mica claims owned by D. Bonelli in the Cedar Basin country, eart of the Muddy, Myron Abbot of Bunkerviiie and J. C Stewart, the mining man, stopped here on the night of the 4th inst. They were on their way to Modena, where Mr. Stewart intends taking the train for Salt Lake City. In a talk with Mr. Stewart, he reported the condition of the copper mine near Bunkerviiie, in which he is interested, as being excellent. excel-lent. Development work is being pushed and large quantities of ore are being opened up. |
